There are no marinas in Playa del Carmen. The nearest marina is Puerto Aventuras, located approximately 20 minutes south, where all luxury yacht charters depart. The only dock in Playa del Carmen is the ferry terminal, which is exclusively reserved for ferry operations.

Can the yacht pick us up directly in Playa del Carmen?

No, yachts cannot pick up passengers in Playa del Carmen as there are no marinas or docking facilities for yachts. All passengers must travel by land to Puerto Aventuras marina. Small boats operate along the Playa del Carmen coast for basic snorkeling and diving tours, but luxury yacht charters only depart from Puerto Aventuras or Cancun.

How do we get to Puerto Aventuras marina?

We recommend private van transportation, especially for groups of more than 4 people. Our vans accommodate up to 14 passengers and are more cost-effective than multiple taxis. Public transportation goes to Puerto Aventuras but does not reach the marina directly, requiring a long walk. We offer private round-trip van service from your hotel for approximately $220 USD.

Do you have transportation for larger groups?

Yes, we offer luxury vehicles for up to 20 passengers, though at a higher price. For larger groups, we recommend booking two 14-passenger vans as a more economical option.

Are there budget-friendly yacht options?

Yes! Our most affordable yacht charters depart from Cancun, approximately 1 hour from Playa del Carmen by car. Cancun charters are more budget-friendly but include basic provisions: 24 beers, 24 waters, and 24 soft drinks, without food. In contrast, all Puerto Aventuras charters include open bar and meals onboard.

Can we add food and extra drinks on Cancun yacht charters?

Absolutely. We offer a popular snack package featuring ceviche with tostadas, guacamole, french fries, chicken wings, fish tinga, surimi, aguachile, and more. Open bar service can be added for approximately 15,000 MXN for up to 15 guests. A private onboard chef is also available starting at approximately 10,000 MXN plus ingredient costs, which vary depending on the protein selected.

Do you offer transportation from Playa del Carmen to Cancun marinas?

Yes, we provide private van transportation from Playa del Carmen hotels to Cancun marinas for approximately $270 USD round trip.

Is onboard DJ service available?

Yes, DJ service is available for both Cancun and Puerto Aventuras yacht charters, starting at approximately 10,000 MXN depending on the DJ and their equipment setup.

Can we visit Cozumel by yacht?

Yes, there are two options. The most practical and affordable way is taking the ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel, then a short taxi ride to the marina for a local boat tour to the famous Playa El Cielo. Alternatively, we can arrange a luxury yacht from Puerto Aventuras to Cozumel, a minimum 8-hour experience with food and drinks included. Due to island concession permits, a transfer to a smaller local vessel may be required near Cozumel coast; this transfer cost is included in the experience price.
